SPA in Comprehensive
The Special Program in the Arts is known by it's acronym SPA. Year 2006-2007 was the first batch of students in SPA. The SPA student is divided into two groups, the performing and non-performing.
Performing Arts has 5 specialization the Brass band, Dance, Rondalla, Combo, and Theater while the Non-Performing Arts consists of 4 specialization the Media, Creative, Choir, and Visual Arts. The population of SPA students is 45% out of 100% that is lesser than the population of SPS and RBEC.
Moreover, SPA students has a maintaining grades that should be passed, each subject should consist of 82% while the specialization should be passed by 85%. The specialization time is different in natural subject. Specialization time consist of two hours unlike the other subject that only consist of one hour.
SPA students brings honor to the school and brought an awards to soar up high. Each SPA students presents each specializations that brings their skills. They compete with dignity and honor.
"It is hard to be an SPA student but it is enjoyable" said by Charmaine Elaine Angco an SPA student. SPA class brings out the talents of each students not only in knowledge but also in skills. SPA students brings victory and name of their school. They build their dreams and break the barriers.
